Like a seed, our fellowship began as a family prayer meeting together and in less than three years has grown to a fellowship with Choirs, Praise Team, Dance Teams, Ushers, Teachers, Benevolence Board, Board of Advisors, Prayer teams, Services, Buildings and Lands. The Lord continues His blessings with miracles of healings, deliverances, restoration, salvation and baptisms.
As never before the Lord is revealing His Word in deeper understanding, rooting and grounding our fellowship. Overcoming testimonies continually are shared and the financial needs of the church are being met.
Yet in the midst of all these blessings there is a burning desire to do more for the Lord. As our fellowship is established outreach ministries will being: Rest Homes, Hospital Visitation and Prayer and Prison Ministries, Feeding the Poor, will rise up. A tremendous Youth Ministry impacting the community will happen. Men and Women’s Retreats, Children of Zion Choir, David’s Dancers Praise Team, Foot Washings, Prayer Meetings, Evangelism, and Special Communion Services, Palm Praise Week and Celebration of the Seven Jewish Feasts.
Still the greater vision was shown to a nine-year-old boy twenty-one years ago. He saw bus loads of people coming from other communities to be a part of the church services. He saw many people being healed by the power of God The greatest burden is for our church body to be filled with God’s love, full of faith and the power of God ready to meet Jesus in His soon coming, the catching away! Our church is an Ark of Safety, a Sanctuary for the lost, a Haven of Rest for the weary. A Place of Restoration of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost.
Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Over the past few years we have been laboring in the harvest field here in Nevada. We have witnessed the wonderful working power of God in action.
When the Lord has a call upon your life, regardless of what it may be, you cannot rest until that call is fulfilled in your life. Even if you are working and busy about the Father’s business, you are not satisfied until you do what He has called you to do!
Along with our children, we have started a church here and God is the one who brings the increase and builds His church from the foundation on up.
We began this work in Fernley, Nevada thinking that was where he wanted us to be, but the Lord had other plans for His church. We held services in the garage and family room of our home, then we moved to a blue building someone else let us use that they were renting. We went to open up for service one Sunday morning and the lock was changed! Surprise! We then moved to the Community Center, having to go early enough to clean up the beer spilt all over the floors from the party’s the night before. We kept searching for a building we could worship in and not have to clean up all the mess every week. We finally found a house off of the highway, very visible, so we moved there thinking this was the place God had for us. A couple of months later, during a Wednesday night bible study, suddenly the Fire Marshal came in and demanded everyone to leave the premises. He came to condemn the property! Surprise! We had a hard time understanding why this was happening! But we continued trusting the Lord to lead us to the right place.
We searched and searched for a place to have our services but could find none. Why would the Lord have us begin a work here and prevent us from finding a place to worship! You may feel the same way sometimes when you work so hard to see something accomplished for the Lord and nothing seems to work out the way you planned it! Don’t give up! The Lord is still in control of everything in our lives! You may even question if you really heard the voice of the Lord or was that just your imagination. Well, your imagination will not direct you toward the things of God. The Lord has not failed you! He has not forsaken you! He has not brought you this far to leave you!
One of our children, who lived in Fallon, Nevada opened their home for services! We began meeting there, trusting the Lord to provide a building soon! We met in their living room. It became to small so we moved outside to the back covered patio. The heat and the flies became intolerable so we moved into the two-car garage. Well, we found a building and moved all of our equipment into it! We were so excited! It was down toward town where it could be seen and we could grow! Everything was going great when suddenly the City said the landowner would have to dig up the septic tank and replace it with a larger one! Well, needless to say that wasn’t going to happen! The owner was a very kind man and allowed us to store our equipment there at no charge until we could find a building! How often does that happen in today’s world?
By this time, some of the people were becoming discouraged! I’m sure they questioned whether this was of God or not! Some of the rest of us were holding on to that still small voice deep inside which said, “Hold on, I will provide a way for you!”
Months later we were driving around, looking at all possibilities for a building when we saw an old metal building with a FOR RENT sign on one end and a junk yard of cars at the other end! Our hearts leaped for joy inside with the thought, “This is a great place for a church!” At this time, we would have moved wherever the Lord opened the door!
Sometimes, the Lord lets us walk in the wilderness until we are ready to go where He wants us to go! The door was opened for us to rent this wonderful place! We took a few of the workers over to see it and began to prepare it for a sanctuary! One sister said as she looked at all the mess and grease and grime, “Are you really sure about this?” Thinking about all the improvements to the building, the expense to us for a building that we were just renting! But everyone stepped out by faith believing this was where the Lord had led us!
We worked for six weeks, scrubbing floors, pressure washing the ceilings and walls, bombing and killing all the black widow spiders, cleaning and totally remodeling this old warehouse into a place of beauty for the work of the Lord.
Finally, the time came to begin services and God began to bring the increase He had promised! Sure, we had lost a few people during this time, but the Lord has restored most of them back and brought even more! So never be discouraged when following where He leads you for all things work together for good to them that are called according to His purpose!
We still had to walk outside and feast our eyes upon these old Junker Cars parked around the building because of the Mechanic Shop at the other end! During the time we were working, cleaning and remodeling to make our side look good, a man came through with a Realtor. You see this building was still up for sale!!! Our hearts skipped a few beats! Wondering if we would have to move again!
“YE OF LITTLE FAITH!” The Spirit spoke to us all! “I have placed you here and the work will go forth!”
Later, the owners of the building called our Administrator and said “The man has made an offer on the building? He has offered us full asking price in cash!” There was a pause! Our Administrator said in her heart, “Oh, Dear Lord!” “What does that mean?” The owner continued. “I really want the church to have this building, so we turned the offer down!” When we heard this our hearts leaped for joy and some of us shouted and began to praise the Lord! We didn’t care who was watching! We stepped out in faith believing once again and said we would buy the property for the church!
We searched but couldn’t find any financial institution that would lend a church the money to purchase this property. We continued to pray and trust the Lord to work it out! Weeks later, the phone rang and our Administrator answered. The owners were on the phone again saying, “How is it coming on the purchase of the property?” “Well,” the Administrator proceeded to tell her, “We have been trying to get the loan to purchase the property, but we haven’t been able to get the financing!” The owner said, “Well, we want the church to have this property for the work of the Lord! We are willing to carry the note for the church!!” By this time we were all shouting and praising the Lord! FOR HE IS MIGHTY! HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EACH DAY! HE IS STILL IN THE MIRACLE WORKING BUSINESS!
On June 1st, 2006, we closed escrow! On the very next day of closing escrow, the Jackson family had to sing and minister in a convention in Bakersfield, California. We went knowing all the work that had to be done. We received a phone call while we were there and this gentleman on the telephone needed to speak to the Pastor of My Father’s House. We tried to set up an appointment upon returning home, but he insisted that he needed to meet with Pastor as soon as possible! What could this be! What must be wrong!!! He was going to drive from Fallon, Nevada to Bakersfield, California so he could speak with the Pastor! He could not say what it was about over the telephone so we let him know where we would be ministering that night! Service came and the service closed and he wasn’t there! What could be going on!!! Well, as they were locking up the church, we decided to go on back to where we were staying. Just as we were going onto the freeway, the cell phone rings again and it was this man of mystery!
We turned around and drove back to the church to meet with him. Little did we know what God was doing, when this gentleman and his wife, told Pastor Bob that they had some commercial property in Fallon they wanted to give to the church!! So when we returned home, the attorney prepared all the paperwork and we now have commercial land, near the Leetville Junction, on the Reno Highway entering into Fallon, Nevada. God can do the impossible and do more than we can even ask or think!
We couldn’t find a carpet layer that we could afford to help us lay our new carpets, all the estimates were as high as $5,000. One day, while we were working on the building, a young man came by, his name was Bucky, and laid all the carpets and only wanted us to pray for him! Two young men came and set the tiles in the entrance of the church free of charge! Another man, a retired electrician, came from California and said God spoke to him to come and do all the electrical work at no charge and donated all the electrical supplies.
Now you see the results of the Scripture, which says “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of fait, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” (Ephesians 6:13-19)
We gave notice to the Mechanic Shop to move and he was agreeable. The Old Junker Cars are gone! The other side was remodeled into a gorgeous sanctuary and the church has grown to over 100 members! A choir is singing His praises! God provided robes for the choir, donated by another church in California. PRAISE THE LORD! If Jesus said it! Believe it! Stand on His promises and He will bring them to pass! Trust the Lord with all your heart! When God calls you, He will equip you to do the job at hand! Stand upon His Word, “Lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5) You will see the hand of the Lord work for you in every situation you are facing! Be encouraged! God isn’t finished with you yet!
We know He is coming very soon! As we continue to work, pray and believe upon His Word, walking in faith for, “Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord, for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
We will continue to see His mighty handwork in the hearts and lives of His people and continue to see souls won into the Kingdom! “For I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, my Lord!” (Philippians 3:14)
We have enclosed a few pictures for you to see what the Lord has done and is continuing to do here at My Father’s House in Fallon, Nevada. We are looking forward to seeing more accomplished for our Lord in the coming 2007 New Year.
Holding you in our prayers and with much love,
Bob and Joyce Jackson

As you approach the entrance door of the church, you come to a sign which reads, “Fear not little flock, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give
You the kingdom.” Luke 12:31
